In 2005, a young mother of a toddler realized that her neighborhood lacked a good quality preschool that could provide children with the right start in life. Despite having no prior business background, she decided to take a bold step and opened a preschool of her own. Her journey of an entrepreneur began not out of ambition, but out of love and necessity — the need to create a safe, nurturing, and meaningful learning space for her child and for many others.

Before this leap, she had been a Senior Research Fellow at the prestigious Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. Moving from the world of science and research into the uncertain terrain of early childhood education and business was no easy task. She faced numerous obstacles — from managing finances and operations to gaining parents’ trust. 

Over the years, what started as a mother’s vision became a successful venture that inspired many others. Since 2005, she successfully managed and nurtured young minds through her Kidzee franchise at Sakherbazar, earning trust and recognition in the preschool sector.

After an impactful journey of guiding children and building a strong preschool community, she has now transitioned into a new role as a Preschool Business Consultant at Barrackpore Anandapuri,West Bengal where she helps aspiring educators and entrepreneurs set up and grow successful preschools with her expertise and practical insights.Today, when she looks back, her journey of an entrepreneur is not just about building a school, but about building confidence, resilience, and a legacy of quality education for children in her neighborhood

Philosophy 

I believe that every child is unique and regardless of where they are born, deserves access to quality early childhood education. A child’s foundation is built in the first five years, and yet, in many suburban and semi-urban parts of West Bengal, good preschools remain either unavailable or unaffordable. My philosophy is rooted in the idea that education should not be a privilege but a right and an equal opportunity. By supporting aspiring preschool owners and educators, I aim to create nurturing learning environments that balance affordability, accessibility, and quality.

Mission

My mission as a preschool business consultant is to bridge the gap by helping set up affordable, high-quality preschools in suburban and semi-urban West Bengal.This is turn will empower entrepreneurs and young mothers to start sustainable preschool ventures, even with little prior business experience. These preschools will have  modern, play-based curriculum models that integrate both learning and life skills while respecting local culture and values.

Ultimately, my mission is to transform early childhood education in West Bengal, making every preschool a place of joy, growth, and future readiness—so that no child is left behind because of geography or affordability.
